8 months old today!

Caleb's newest obsession is with the stairs! Climbing upstairs very quickly is easy for Caleb, but he has not yet learned the skill of getting back down safely.... making mom and dad rather nervous when he is practicing his new skill! Every piece of furniture in the house is used by Caleb for pulling up to stand daily - his legs are getting very strong. In fact, he is so confident in his ability to stand that he often lets his hands go and falls on his diapered bum a few seconds later!

We are trying to introduce more interesting foods to Caleb like avocado, tofu, yogurt, cheese, fruit puffs, cheerios... he is interested, but mom and dad daily wonder, "where are those teeth?!".

OH Caleb..you are such a quick one!!!It was just a few weeks ago when I was there for your very first crawling. Now just learn how to back down the stairs and you can go all over the place!! happy 8 months..we love you....
