3 months old!
Our little girl is past the 0.25 year mark. Getting to this point has seemed both short and long...feels like we just brought her home last week, and at the same time we can't imagine our family without her!

Someone is growing up! It seems as though Lauren has grown up a lot lately... overnight her little clothes have all gotten shorter and tighter! This week we had her 2 month well baby check up (even though she is going to be 3 months next week) - she weighed 13 pounds, 12 ounces and she was 2 feet tall. That puts her in the 88% percentile for weight and about 45% percentile for height, relative to 3 month olds. Those numbers are completely opposite to Caleb's stats as a baby - he was long and lean instead of short and chubby!
Lauren is really trying to engage in conversation with her cooing, and it really doesn't take much to get a smile out of her, just eye contact and a smile. Watching Caleb (or the tv, or anything animated) is her favourite pasttime right now. Here are some of her new looks:

Lauren and the swing... she really enjoys watching and talking to the little toys above. Sometimes she will even have a little nap in her swing if we're lucky!

Happy New Year!!
The Hamblys are now home again, after a wonderful, relaxing trip. A look back at the highlights of the trip after Christmas:

Uncle Kelvin's fireman friend invited us to visit his firestation - the boys were in heaven!!
