Half a year!
Caleb is 0.5 years old today! How quickly 6 months have passed. Caleb is very proficient at rolling in both directions and squirming around on his tummy. Standing (with support) and bouncing up and down is one of Caleb's favourite things to do. His sitting is pretty steady although once he reaches out for a toy he tumbles over, so the boppy and a stack of pillows are always nearby. Green peas, sweet potatoes, carrots, rice cereal and oatmeal have been introduced to him so far - he seems to like them all. He is taking a strong interest in the foods mom and dad eat, and salivates (i.e. drools!) a lot! Caleb's biggest laughs are reserved for rough-housing with daddy - dangling upside down and mini-"wrestling" on the big bed!
Silly mom used the day as an excuse to have cake....

Look at me in the exersaucer! What a difference a few days makes - Caleb now enjoys his exersaucer a lot more since we have been home. He busily pushes all of the little buttons and plays with all of the toys so mom can get a little work done. He's always ready to smile when mom talks to him.

Happy New Year!!
We're back home now - here is Caleb chillin' in one of his new cool outfits! This one is from Auntie Jannie and Uncle Jack (mom's cousins).
We had a great time in Toronto! We did so many fun things and Caleb met a lot of nice people. The best was hanging out with our family! Here we are eating sushi (our family can sure put away a lot of raw fish! ).
Here is gung-gung reading to Caleb - he got a lot of Sandra Boynton books for Christmas, and he loves to have them read to him.
