Lauren and mom came home on October 28 - discharged less than 24 hours after delivery. It's so nice to be home together!

She is here!
Welcome Lauren!
After about 8 hours of labor, Lauren arrived at 3:27pm on Saturday, October 27th, 2007. She is a happy and healthy baby at 7 lbs 15 oz and 21 inches long, with a healthy head of hair, and very chubby cheeks. Mom and baby are doing very well.
Here she is right after her birth, still covered with all that nice gook!
A daddy's girl already!
A sleepy girl, Lauren had a great first day and night, with lots of poops and breastfeeding right away!
Caleb was cautiously excited to meet his little sister for the first time.
We'll keep everyone posted with pics as often as possible!!

For Caleb's last music class this year, daddy and grandma joined in the fun! 
In this video, Caleb is shaking his bells according to the teacher's instruction, flapping his wings like a bat, and repeating "bah bah" into the microphone in front of the whole class. He is very proud of his achievement!

Music class
Just a few shots of Caleb at music class with mommy. Caleb has lots of fun and always participates in the singing and instrument playing. He especially likes parachute time, and he waits patiently to get his stamps and stickers at the end of class.

Hanging out again on a nice fall day - here Caleb is watching some ducks.
We tried a new children's hair salon with Caleb today - the set up was much better, as Caleb got to watch Thomas, and the stylist was much more gentle and patient. Only a few tears this time (usually he wails throughout)!
Handsome kid at the end of a much less traumatic haircut! He even let the stylist put a little gel in his hair.

On a fall day, Caleb was helping dad track down a mole in our yard... and showing off some of this new fall wardrobe! (he picked out this hat himself - wouldn't leave the store without it! Luckily mom thought it was cute, too!)
