At his 4-month well-baby appointment, Caleb weighed in at 15 pounds 14 ounces and is 26 and 1/4 inches long. Mom and dad thought he would be heavier (he sure feels heavier!!) but he is still in about the 70th percentile for weight and around the 90th percentile in height (tall like daddy!). Pretty big still!

4 months old!! yippee!

This birthday boy is really developing right before our eyes! He is gaining more and more control of his hands and is attempting to roll over - he'll probably accomplish the complete roll from tummy to back soon. Caleb demands a lot of attention because he hates to be left alone, although fortunately for mom and dad, he is pretty easy to entertain! We may start to introduce some solid foods soon because his appetite is steadily growing.... keep an eye out for photos!

Caleb is a very happy, smiley baby!
We think Caleb is starting to teethe - his favourite teethers are dad's knuckles!(don't mind the little scratches between his eyes - he seems to wake up with scratches on his face some mornings, no matter how often mom cuts his fingernails!)

Caleb's favourite toy these days is his little bug - he is really learning to grab and hold it! But sometimes he gets a little frustrated...

First flight:
We spent a few days in Seattle visiting Grandma and Grandpa Hambly! Caleb slept the entire plane ride there and back. He enjoyed playing with both of his grandparents and really was recognizing them by the end of our visit. Uncle Sean came all the way from Salt Lake City to meet Caleb for the first time.

Caleb was all smiles for his uncle.
Cold and rain:
Our trip to Seattle marked Caleb's first experience with cold weather. Here he is in his winter jacket - he was so confused by the silly mittens! Good thing mom kept him right up close when we went shopping.

Caleb says: "Mom, seriously, it's cold out there!" (wait til he goes to Toronto next month - yikes!!)
Wedding:
Also in Seattle, the Hamblys attended the wedding of dad's friends, Shane and Brandi. Everyone got all dressed up for the occasion! We don't think Caleb liked his shirt and tie very much, though. He didn't crack a smile all evening.
