Look what Caleb got for his birthday from auntie Adah, uncle Kelvin and cousin Michael! A fun singing chair!
Caleb concentrated very hard to help put the chair together... it's a perfect fit! Thanks!
Today was Caleb's 12-month well-child check up too.... he now weighs 21 pounds 12 ounces, and is 32 inches tall!

Mom's company picnic at the zoo was a really kid-oriented affair... Caleb was too little for the rock-climbing wall, bouncy castle and giant slide that were set up...
...but he was obsessed with the wading pools set up for bubble-blowing!
After the company festivities, we walked around the zoo for a little while. Caleb was mesmerized by the gorillas and the elephants.

A future fire fighter?
Today Caleb had a little "outing" at daycare - a fire truck and a fireman came to visit. The kids got to sit in the fire truck and were given souvenir hats and goody-bags. If Caleb wants to be a fire fighter he'll have to learn to keep his hat on first!

A big boy now!
Today Caleb began his transition into daycare... thankfully dad stayed with him to play today, and he did fine.
We're sure the transition will be hardest for mom to get used to!!
